k + b …i do!

It was my first wedding. All by myself. I slept good the night before because I think I had worn my brain down so much I just demanded it quit thinking.
Thankfully, it listened.

Kenzie’s mom did her make up and it was stunning! If my mom ever did my make up? Oh dear….
Bobbi Woodward did her hair which was a blast to see and chat with her again since it’d been since Carly’s wedding I had seen her. Soon, we’re gonna run out of friends weddings to chat they’re all getting married!

ok, THESE pictures took effort! I hung her dress outside and then Kenzie’s cat came up to play! I could just see the look it’s beady little eyes was giving the fabric of her dress. It was a, “Oh your gonna be so fun to claw myself too and then try to climb look.” I was NOT having that! I could just see the scene happening in my head to which after I would get in my car, leave and never return to southern alberta EVER again.
SO this was the only shot I was willing to risk after yelling, geeeet! to the cat a bajillion times.

Can I say how I barely made it to the temple in time? I literally showed up and 2 minutes later they walked out.
I’m a gong show…. I know!
pic stolen from facebook!
I love this picture. I always love this shot in any wedding. You just can’t replicate such genuine smiles! Lahhhhve it!

SO… This picture is important since Kenzie’s dad hadn’t worn a suit since his wedding day! Cra-zay!

So the above picture always makes me laugh. We were walking to the carriage when Kenzie turns to me and says, “Oh wait, I have to go talk to my dad’s hutterite colony.” There’s a sentence you don’t hear every day.

And I’ll leave you with my favorite pic of the day again.
But in black and white.
Just so I can justify posting it twice!

So, after this wedding was said and done I was exhausted. Never in my life have I been THAT tired! Shooting a wedding? Whole different ballgame. I vowed it would be my first and final wedding. I give all wedding photogs mad props cuz your all amazing!

Ten days though after this wedding? I booked my next and I can’t wait! What can I say? I like a good challenge.
